"I am so happy to be able to smile naturally for the first time in over forty years. After meeting Celia and her team and sheepishly asking if anything could be done to my front teeth, she has actually made my year."
Jan Horne

In a word… yes. 🧠
This #WorldAlzheimersDay, we’re highlighting something that’s easy to overlook: your oral health is connected to your overall health, including your brain. 🦷🧠
A 2020 study involving more than 25,000 people found that those who had experienced gum disease for 10 years or longer were up to 70% more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease.
The Oral Health Foundation has long recognised the close links between our oral and general health. Looking after your mouth throughout your life may play an important part in helping you maintain better overall health as you get older.
🪥 Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
🦷 Clean between your teeth every day with floss or interdental brushes.
🏥 Visit your dentist regularly for routine checks and professional care.
🍬 Keep sugary foods and drinks to a minimum.
Your mouth is part of your body — so looking after your teeth and gums is about more than just your smile! 💜

It’s that time of year again and our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning is just around the corner 🍰
Join us next Thursday, 24th September, for a hot drink and a slice of cake in support of this brilliant cause. Whether you’re visiting us for an appointment or simply passing by, we’d love for you to pop in and say hello. We hope to see you there to help us make this year’s Coffee Morning the biggest yet! 💚
We’re sad to say that the practice is bidding a very fond farewell to Dr Hassan Kamal, who has been a loyal and skilled member of the Nothing But The Tooth team for the past eight years ✨
Hassan joined NBTT when we were much smaller and has played an important role in our growth over the years. Although we are very sad to see him go, we would like to thank Hassan for everything he has contributed during his time with us, and hope you will join us in wishing him all the very best for the future! 💙
